I have been working with children and young people since 2001. I have done various different roles during that period including youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, street based work and community projects.
In 2014 I decided to leave my role with Oxford City Council and set up Inspired Young People’s Project focusing on youth work projects as well as working alongside schools.
I currently teach PE in 4 primary schools around Oxfordshire as well as delivering some youth clubs and community based projects for Young People
I also work in some secondary schools working with young people at risk of exclusion. I deliver workshops and mentor young people to support them and give the positive strategies for dealing with issues they may face.
Hi, I'm Zara, I'm married to Adam and we have two beautiful children , Leo (9) and Lyla (7).
I have a background of Management, Operations & Production, most recently being General Manager of an Oxford based start up.
I've been involved with Inspired Holiday Camps (behind the scenes) since it began in 2016, initially designing the logo.
I'm excited for my new role as Administrator, I love working with growing businesses, putting systems in place to ensure everything runs smoothly and i'll also get to be creative.
As a teenager, I used to attend Adam's weekly football sessions. So I have been involved with 'Inspired' for over 10 years. I have been coaching at Inspired Holiday Camps since it began in 2016. It was my first role in coaching and Adam provided me with the opportunity and guidance to become a better leader and sports coach.
Currently, I am in my final year studying mathematics at the University of Bristol. Once I have graduated this summer, I will be doing a 2 year teacher training programme working in schools who are disadvantaged.
In my youth I played for Oxford City FC U18's for two seasons, a few years later I started coaching in the women's set up at Oxford City FC where we established youth teams to compete in the Oxfordshire Girls Football League for the first time. I spent five years developing the women's game at Oxford City before moving over to the boy's youth league two years ago. I now coach the U10's who have progressed into the B league after starting from scratch.
In my current role as a Sports Coach at Sandhills Primary School, where I have worked for the past ten years, I have set up my own football club which runs after school where we focus on developing confidence, fundamental skills and the love of football.
I have been working at Inspired Sports Camp since 2016 where we have grown immensely, producing some memorable moments. My personal favourite being the water fights we have in the summer.
I have been involved with 'Inspired' for 3 years joining the team to work on their youth projects in Newbury and Aylesbury. I also joined the team in their summer camp projects and school PE sessions at various schools.
I am a qualified teacher and specialise in sport and engineering subjects. I worked for Oxford United for 9 years ranging from community coaching to their elite development squads, whilst working at football and eduction programs at both Wycombe Wanderers and Oxford United. Currently manager of Abingdon United First Team and work for BMW in their Apprenticeship section.

Assistant Sports Coach
I initially started at Inspired Holiday Camps as one of the kids around 6 years ago. Since then I've become a volunteer and more recently an assistant sports coach for the camp. I've been involved in coaching for around 3 years and have helped Adam at sports clubs and football events previously.
Right now I'm in my first year of A-Levels, studying History, Geography and English and I am also active as part of the English Karate National Squad and a player for my local under 17 football club.
Camp Manager (In Training!)
I have been attending 'Inspired Holiday Camps' since my Dad started running them back in 2016. I have never missed a day and I really enjoy it.
I help make everyone feel welcome, especially any new children.
I'm often making suggestions of activities we could do at camp and give ideas for our weekly trips.
I love football! I play for Abingdon United, my Dad is my coach.
I am also a keen cross country runner.
